Thanks to the most modern x-rays and imaging methods, our doctors can very quickly obtain a detailed 3D image of the designated part of your oral cavity. Thanks to this, they can accurately and efficiently determine the diagnosis, but also perform more complicated procedures in a way that is as gentle as possible for you.
This treatment is gentle and there is no need to worry about it. Compared to CT in a hospital, the total radiation dose is up to fifty times lower.
On what occasions are X-rays used in our offices?
- Implantology – preparation and application of an implant ("screw") into the bone
- Extraction (pulling) of abnormally placed teeth
- Endodontics – root canal treatment
We also perform these examinations on patients of other doctors who do not have this technique available. We can send them the results along with the viewing software itself.
